Overview
Funded jointly by Lardner Park Events, the State and Federal Governments and the Baw Baw Shire Council, the new 1500sqm multi-purpose Exhibition Centre will further enhance the Lardner Park amenities and make it the most functional large capacity facility in the Gippsland region.
The Centre is equipped with audio visual capability and comprises a main function area of 1000sqm, pre-function space of 250sqm, commercial Kitchen, 2 toilet blocks and disabled facilities.
The building can cater for functions of up to 1000 patrons but with the flexibility provided by internal operable walls, will also accommodate conferences and meetings in smaller and more intimate spaces.
Building facades of corrugated color bond cladding together with painted fc sheet and tinted glazing blend seamlessly with the rural characteristics and elements of the local environment whilst achieving a high quality and well appointed facility with heating and cooling incorporating energy efficient design principles.
The Architect and Builder have worked closely and in collaboration with the Client, Lardner Park Events through the design and construction phases of the project to jointly deliver a first class facility within the stipulated timeframe and budget
